Here’s a fascinating optical illusion:

It may not look like it, but this image shows two perfect circles, one inside the other.

Here’s what I personally find fascinating: that’s exactly what I see. It looks like two oddly-textured circles. In discussions on Reddit and elsewhere, most people can’t believe that this shows two normal circles, even after manipulating the image and squinting their eyes to confirm it.

It goes to show that we all have different brains, even when it comes to basic visual processing.

That’s another reason why it’s important to seek out objective information on how your unique brain responds to changes.
